"ADOPTION PENDING"
I'm Duke! I'm a neutered, male, Yorkshire Terrier Mix weighing 8.5 lbs and approx. 2 yrs. old with an excellent temperament, playful and very affectionate. Don't have a mean bone in my body!!!! I've had all my vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. I'm also crate trained and fairly good in the housetraining department. First and foremost I'm definitely a people dog who is most content in an environment where I will get lots of attention and not left alone for long hours. I love to be close to my people and definitely a lap dog plus I travel well. I also love other dogs and get along very well with the other dogs in my foster home. I would love to be the only dog and get all the attention. I also get along with dog friendly cats. I love respectful kids so I'm the perfect family dog. Therefore, I MUST be in a home where I'll get lots of love and attention and kids are a plus!! Please don't consider me if I'm going to be spending a lot of time alone and not taken out for walks and car trips. Yes, I want and need to be someone's spoiled baby! Are you the one to spoil me???? Come and meet me soon - you'll see.

Pet Network dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all shots. Our dogs live in nurturing foster homes and are socialized with people, children and other pets. Some of our foster parents are dog trainers, so sometimes there is the extra benefit of some obedience training while in the foster home.

The dogs come to us many times due to situations and living conditions caused by abusive or irresponsible owners. Through no fault of their own, they suffer from being surplus, unwanted and thrown away.

Won't you find room in your heart and home to adopt one of these deserving animals? They will love you for it forever.

Cats Currently Looking for Homes

cage chat

Daisey is an 11-12 month old spayed female. She has a very beautiful coloring as you can see. She is up to date on all her shots, been tested for feline aids and Luek.. and has been microchipped. Daisey is a very sweet girl. As you can see she only has one eye. She was found on the street by a kind gentleman when she as about 6-7 weeks old. Her right eye had to be removed because of trauma. She does fine without her eye. It causes her no discomfort and does not stop her from doing what any other cat can do.
Daisey is friendly, but aloof. She is bold and not afraid of anything. She does not like to be picked up and carried around. She is not a lap cat but, she likes to be near like somewhere on your bed, the top of the couch, a chair nearby or an ottoman. She likes to play with interactive toys, cat tracks, balls and toy mice. She loves to be pet.
She gets along fine with other cats and dogs. In her foster home she sleeps on the bed with dogs. Daisey is her own cat and likes to call the shots. She would make a good companion cat.

All of our cats and kittens live in nurturing foster homes and are socialized with people, children and other pets. All are spayed or neutered, current on all shots, and tested for FELV/FIV. Won't you find room in your heart and home to adopt one of these deserving animals?

Volunteers Needed!

Qualifications: A LITTLE Time! LOTS of Love!

Pet Network needs volunteers for our Saturday Pet Fairs from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Fairs are normally held at PetsMart/Campbell - 850 W. Hamilton Ave, Petco/Cupertino - 10225 S. DeAnza Blvd, or Petco/Santa Clara - 2775 El Camino at Kiely. Can you spare 4 hours a month to help with our cats or dogs?

Our volunteers shown on this page are eagerly waiting to help you learn about Pet Network's adoption process. If you're not able to stay 4 hours, we frequently need assistance to just pick up a dog or cat and bring it to a fair and return it to its foster home. Administrative help is also needed at certain times, e.g., mailings, data entry, fund raisers, etc.

At Christmas time in December we need volunteers to help with our holiday fund raiser called "Santa Paws" where people bring their pets to have pictures taken with Santa on a Saturday or Sunday. Volunteers are needed to be "Santa" and to help with the picture taking. It's a real fun day for everyone and very rewarding!!

Helping to place homeless pets is a very rewarding experience. Please consider donating your time and love to these special animals.

For more information/questions and to sign up as a volunteer, please contact us at (408) 450-2452 or email us at petres007@aol.com.

Temporary Foster Homes

Short term foster homes for kitten/cats, puppies/dogs are always needed. Foster homes for dogs must have a yard with a secure fence high enough to contain the animal. Those fostering cats must be willing to keep the animal indoors. It's always helpful if you're able to bring your foster animal to the Saturday pet adoption fairs held at PetsMart on Hamilton Ave in Campbell or Petco on DeAnza Blvd. in Cupertino, but not mandatory. All food, veterinary care and supplies are provided by Pet Network. When you open your home to foster animals you are offering safety, love and comfort to animals who otherwise may not have such wholesome experiences. If you would like to participate in this volunteer work or know someone who has shown interest, please use the contact information below. A Pet Network representative will quickly respond to you.
